Items used to list the level at which you could get bonus from using them that was changed so that level was the level of the item. Thats probably what the screenie is about.
I like this item a lot I'm speced in both slash and thrust to just under 2/3. There are not many items that add to both for thoes of us who swap weapons according to situation.
Dauntless courage bracer is nice but most of my stats hit the cap with other items and buffs so I stick to a pair of these.

I have this and I'm a lvl 14 Inf. Its good for the +thrust since I have nothing else in my 2nd bracer slot!

These bracers are useless....
with spec on 1handed weapons, you have mostly a bonus to your primary weaponskill in your weapon, and with 2handed weapons the quiksilver bracers with +quick and +parry are even better, because you gain attack speed and you gain your lacking defensiv ability :-)
For other classes, there are much better bracers...+Piety for Friar/cleric, +Int for mages, +Dex/quick/Longbow for scouts and so on :-)

As a minstrel who barely can keep his slash and stealth even 1/4 his level, these bracers combined with a good +slash sword can make me hit 2/3 easy. For armsman and paladin's quicksilver is better but these are great for anyone having to spec in a base damage spec with few points to use.

I received this yesterday in Keltoi somewhere close to ledge - although it showed it as being a Level 20-something item...
