For those Armsmen who wish to receive a usable item for their level, please return to Master Graent. You can hand him the Embossed Crossbow and you will receive a Belt of Battle in exchange. |

i did fortune of few and only got the belt... how can i get the bow now?

getting the crossbow @ 15 *totally* changed my game plan
no more running round like an idiot trying to not pick up additional mobs.
I've only trained to 6 points and I don;t think I'll do any more. I tried to use it in RvR but I was dead before the bolt left the bow!
The damage is from slash but the to hit is from crossbow. The mobs go OW! if you hit them :)
What makes it so good in a group is that your scout can put a nice low damage long range arrow into the mob and when it gets in range to you stick a broad bolt into it and it will instantly change target and come for you thus saving the scout from the first hit or the casters risking getting magic blood on their silk pajamas.
If you use flight bolts and pull yourself you've got time to reload with a broad and fire again before the mob gets to you, one and a half free hits that can make the difference.

infiltrators get to use a better bow.. short bow I think. the Crossbow has the shortest range of all bows, and its the only bow armsmen can use, and yet armsmen can train in it, but its better to train in other stuff like slash, polearm, parry, not crossbow.

No but I bet yall get your own unique quest item from this. it just aint listed yet.

TO use the crossbow, you must wait until you are at level 15, then you can train in crossbow.

I didn't think that you could train in crossbow, but this says plus one to crossbow. Is there soemthing I missed?
