Bristle does wanter SouthWest of mBeo. He wanders around the small hills just past the short cirle of rocks with the wolves, I found him just in the South woods completly over the first, tallest hill beyond the rocks.
I too also tried the 'right-click'on NPC's when prompted to give the head and then the bag to their respective NPC's. Worked for me as well, so now I still have the head, the remains, and the bag. It must be a bug in the quest, though I have never tried that with any other quest before.

Talk to Eruven in Basar in Connacht, Eruven can be found just over the bridge in Connacht - Follow the road N - NE out of Ardee - right after the bidge is a small town with merchants - he is outside the first building. [Step #1] Talk to Reidie in Tir na mBeo about Bristle, Bristle is a named badger and he spawns right where Wug spawns. Bristle is called 'Pilou' on French servers. It is right behind Tir mBeo up on a hill. [Step #2] Find Bristle west of Tir na mBeo and get his head (actually SW) Loc approxiamtely 18k, 54k [Step #3] Return to Reidie [Step #4] Give Bristle's Head to Reidie [Step #5] Return to Eruven and give sealed bag. I did this quest on mordred ( yes, hte pvp server )... i haven't tested this little find on Merlin yet, but when i did it, i spent a long time looking for bristle, found him, then went to reidie.... I talked to her, and when she prompted me for the head, i merely right clicked on here again... Voila, the quest continued without me giving her the item, and i still had the head... Intrigued, i did the same thing with the bag ( still had it in my invo ) I had to log shortly after that, and such a thing hasn't happened since... like i said, i am still trying this again, if anyone has had this happen, i'd like to know if it was just a bug i had for a log.

I have seen the badger and Wug up at the same time though.
to make bristle pop simply kill wug. worked for me several times now. wug dead, immediate pop of bristle.

I have done Little Wind and wear the Grass Bracelet. The only quest I have hanging is Mild Deception and I am a 14th Season Ranger. Why won't Eruven talk to me? I even tried "assitant."

Yep, and much more south than west. if you look south from mBeo you will see a hill, which is where Bistle spawns. I think Mythic may need to watch some Sesame Street in order to master the concepts of near, far and direction.

I completed this quest and got Bristle's Fang, and I'm a Druid. Now, someone please explain to me: what good is a piercing weapon to a Druid? Can't even use the damn thing, and nobody wants to buy it off me.

As a Blademaster I would love to have 2 or 3 of these. I am sure there is a some empathy item quest I could do and trade you for your bristle.

I did the full lambent armor with my druid in EQ and you know what ? My druid was not able to wear lambent plate ...

What you have to do is type the word he's trying to say (can't remember what it was -- assistant i think -- but the correct word is obvious) and it runs along.
Got this and finished it on 1 Dec as a 13 ranger; don't think it's broken. You may have to have helped Reidie before, because as soon as i did eruvan started saying "i see you've helped reidie, come back when your bigger"

The quest is not working, its been broke for two weeks.. maybe someday it will get fixed...Eruven does not complete his talk gets stuck in middle.

Actually, you can still get the quest from him.
Simply type "an assistant" (without the quotes). Since clicking on the words in the brackets of a quest is the same as typing it out, if clicking doesn't work, try saying what's the brackets or /whisper it.

Ive talked to eruven he talks to me for a while then stops he wont give me quest i did lil wind quest then i went to reidie all the way down in tirnmBeo but she wont even talk to me ! know what i missed?

You have to talk to Eruven, Reidie does not start the quest.

I've just finished it. This weapon is yellow at 15 and +2 piercing is nice when I usually put every skill points in Stealth and Critical.
Something is nice also, if you equiped it in the 2Hand slot (on your back) it still gives +2 Piercing. I know a dagger in the back is not that nice but +2 piercing is :)

bristle is unually on a hill that is between the rocks and the siabra camp

I killed bristle for fun yesterday. I found him right behind mBeo. There is a field of rocks in between mBeo and the Sibra stone circle. I found him by the rock field.
Bristle is a named badger and he spawns right where Wug spawns. Right behind Tir mBeo up on a hill.
