From Bertram's post on the Drunken Friar:
Starting NPC: Katebet in the Mau village at /loc 7.8k, 52.8k
Requirements: Neutral Mau faction (and I didn't get the quest until completing the Sekhmet Messenger quest).
Katebet wants to be a warrior just like her dear dead mum, but her dad said "Ziyad don't play dat" so she's moping around about it. She wants you to find some way to convince her dad to let her follow in her mothers footsteps. She asks you to talk to her dad's friend Maakha (loc 9.0k, 52.8k) for advice.
Maakha tells you about a box with a jewel in it that, if planted in the right place, will summon a marid who will grant you one wish. He wants you to use that wish to help Katebet. (what? I get a wish and you want me to what?) He doesn't know where the stone is, but knows of a Sobekite who has a tablet that has the location inscribed on it. He says to go take that tablet from the sobekite.
I found Osaze at 46.0k, 30.7k. Once I killed him I had to right-click on the tablet and /interact to read it. It sent me to /loc 60.4k, 54.7k where I /searched to find the gem and the location as to where to use it.
Take the gem to 19.7k, 33.7k and /bury it under the water. It will summon the Marid who will tell you how to grant the wish yourself (some wish-granter. "I can't make it happen, but I can tell you how to do it.") Pfft. Anyway, she gives you a potion and tells you to find Ziyad's wife's necklace and pour the potion on it to summon her spirit to talk to Ziyad. Problem is, some Setian took the necklace from her when he killed her. That prick.
I found Akhenre at /loc 64.6k, 19.2k in Land of Atum (has been found at loc=64.9, 10.1 and 65000, 9400 Land of Atum also). I killed him, nabbed the necklace, used the potion on it and took it to Ziyad. Oh, he was thrilled and said he'd let Katebet be a warrior once his wife told him it was dandy, but nooooo... Now you have to do HIM a favor. (argh). Go kill an inculus, a desert scorpion, and a riverside crocodile for him. Blah. Once you do that, you just have to take the shield he gives you to Maakha, and then take it to Katebet. She's all thrilled and says her armorcrafting dad left you "these" treasures (yet you only get one item):
