Below is the begining information for the Artifact Crown of Zahur, if you know more information please send it in. Sage Linyive says: I do not know if my research is correct or not, but I believe the crown brought on the insanity of the King who once wore it. If you are set on finding it, I believe the Crown in in the possession of a sobekite in the waters of Oceanus Boreal. I have not found anything containing the name of this sobekite. I shall continue my studies, but it can't hurt for you to go do some research yourself. Travel to loc=28k, 20k in Oceanus Boreal with a group and defeat Zahur, a named Sobekite. You will find Zahur with three minions, a fighter(Boekide), a healer (Gohron) and a caster (Danthena). Have a tank keep Zahur busy while the rest of your group takes on the minions. When a minion dies a ball of energy will appear. You must destroy this ball of energy before it reaches Zahur's rock. If the minions energy ball reaches Zahur's rock it will transfer its powers to it, which will be bad later on since Zahur can take on the energy of his minions energy from his rock. If the energy ball does not transfer its powers to the rock it will prevent Zahur from receiving the minions talents and will make the fight with him easier for you. Once all the minions have been defeated take on Zahur, note he will teleport back to his rock to summon more minions. If this happens kill the minions once again and their energy balls then proceed to beat on Zahur until he is dead. He ranted and raved for a while, shouting that he would not be looked down upon, especially not by his fellow kings. After I calmed him down, I read the letter he thrust at me. It seems that some of the other kings are having new crowns made. Apparently our king thinks that new crowns will make him inferior to the others. I suggested to his royal highness that we hire the best goldsmiths to make him a new crown too. That seemed to please him. I have always been very loyal to his majesty, but I must secretly admit that I will be glad then the Prince finally ascends the throne. It will be good to see him get credit for all the work he does not that his father is very old. The finished crown finally arrived today from the goldsmith. The enchanters had a great deal of trouble with the spells his majesty wanted, which held up everything. They finally got everything worked out. His majesty is worried though. He believes the other kings will send thieves to steal his crown. I tried to explain to him that they have their own crowns and would not try to steal his and that his crown will be well protected when he is not wearing it. He was in a mood and would have no part of my explanations. Only the Prince was able to calm him down. His majesty's days as king are coming to an end. He is convinced the other kings are out to steal his crown. He was shouting today that he would not allow them to get it because he was going to hide it. I had his servants keep an eye on him but the old man is still spry enough to elude them. He was missing for many hours until we located him in the Hall of Heroes. Both the Prince and I questioned him about the crown but he refused where he hid it. I must now go hire men to search the planes for the crown, but I fear we may never find it. All classes can use this artifact. (Earns Exp: Slaying enemies from another realm who have mastered channeling energy into magic spells.)
