DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Per patch 1.87: - Moonstone Twin - Maudalin is now spawning normally on the tower near Bri Leith. Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest. Brigit will send you to Maudalin who lives at the top of the tower on the road to Caille. He tells you to seek the Tree Fairie near the edge of Bri Leith and Cursed Forest (16k/20k) who says you must kill Cadoc who runs with his enchanted horses during the day and night along the river from end to end. The horses are neutral and there are two sets: dark steeds at night and veil steeds during the day. Kill both sets and Cadoc will appear. Kill him and he gives you the second half-moonstone. Return this to Brigit for the second reward which is an Enchanter's Jewel. Cadoc is on west side of river at far south end. /loc = 14420,58733 *Note: I did this with my bard and killed both day and night steeds, which worked fine (if in a grp). With my champ at lvl 45 I noticed in the journal that you first have to do the day steeds and the text says to leave them alone, just follow. I solo folowed them to the end of the river where I just talked to a friendly Cadoc. This got me the day step. The night step I'm afraid is a violent one... Rewards: |

Cant find the tree Faerie at loc 15/21 in CF. Anyone knows where he is?(uthgard)

If you are following the day steeds to talk to Cadoc, he spawns on a rock in the middle of the river at 14420, 58733 and is neutral. Yellow/Orange mobs in the area WILL aggro. He will tell you he does not have it, your Journal should update to Step 9 with a similar message that he runs the river with his steeds as Darkmare at night. Darkmare has the half stone you need for this quest. As of version 1.65 you can run to the north end of the river where Darkmare spawns out of the rocks and kill him while he is solo with no veil steeds and he will drop the half stone. Only tested at night, not sure if it will drop in the daytime.
Tested on Uthgard (DAoC v1.65) with a solo enchanter.

- Talk to the tree faerie at 15K, 21K. [steeds roam]. This puts you on Step #8.
- Go to 14K, 58K. When the day steeds come down the river, Cadoc appears. You do not need to kill either the day steeds or Cadoc.

Group Needed to make this cake: Level 45 Chanter (or higher), Level 45 Mentalist (or higher), Level 45 Tank (or higher)
Simply pull out a Underhill Zealot and pull the named horse that you want. Then cast FS and have another tank in your group pull off the one named. Then have that tank pull the named out of range of the other mobs. Then have a mentalist cast hots on the pet and the tank and you've got it made. Since hots do not pull the agro on to the Mentalist its cake.

Then have that tank pull the named out of range of the other mobs. Then have a mentalist cast hots on the pet and the tank and you've got it made. Since hots do not pull the agro on to the Mentalist its cake.

The tower is located just as you enter the Valley of Bri Leith. If you horse from the East Lough Derg Parth Farm, then you'll need to jump fairly soon after you enter the Bri Leith zone.

I have completed this step and my journal now tells me to see the Old Harper again. Unfortunately, I have forgotten where the Old Harper is located. Any Ideas?

the real location of the farie is 15k 21k hiding in the christmas tree
