DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Kill Lord Fire and get Cerus, a nice chain helm. Loc 44.5k, 38k (also 42k 40k, and /loc 39k 41,5k 12 a.m and 55000,11600.) He is a named Flaming Raukomaz that I think may only spawn one time a day. I found him at 6:30am CDT in a lava pit near the crooked bridge. I think the pit is NE of the crooked bridge. He brings a friend. He conned yellow to me at 33, but was easy as I had 19% fire resist before the helmet :). Your best bet is to look for him early in the morning at the edge of the lava. Reward: |

After many days of searching he finally spawned for me. Was with a flaming raukomaz friend. I honestly don't think there is a placeholder mob. I saw him walking down the ravine next to the Fire Giant bridge area. I didn't see where the spawn was, but at least I can back up other info here.

I did this quest at lvl 29 as a skald and the quest is called Cerus and the mob is Lord Fire and you recieve the chain helm Cerus

Please clarify which lava pit he can be found at.......the lava pit near the castle....the lava pit at the crooked bridge.....or the lava pit that lies NE of the crooked bridge....thx

Good loc... but also during the night. L-F spawned for me right about midnight, under the crooked bridge.

Cannot Find Cerus. I camped two game days at the given loc 44.5/38 and didnt see him spawn.
Also the spot at the crooked bridge seems to be too low for a l30 one time drop.
Can please someone verify the info given here?

Confirmed position. He spawns in the lava pit (left side for me) in the morning. I got him at 5:30 am, with his friend. It seems that once he has spawned, he wanders until he reaches the Fire giant castle, in the south east.
