DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Speak with Ruairi at loc=30420, 10828 in Bann-Didein in the Domnann zone. step #1: kill a botonid tuber for its root. from Droighaid, go west to the Fomorian house, then NW. found some around loc: 19k, 26k. (botonoid tuber camp can also be found at 15k, 29k. Pollen spores are there also.) Botonoid Tuber and Pollen Spore were yellow to a lvl 31. step #2: go to Ivy Magennis in Droighaid, tell her [Ruairi is hurt]. step #3: give her the root step #4: kill a pollen spore. these are in the same area as the tubers. step #5: this part varies. you have to kill a fomorian for its blood, but you might get geddon(can be found by taking a horse to Aalid Feie and jumping at 5k, 20k) , tremulare, or something else. If you can't find the one you need at the fomorian settlement, go NW to loc 33k,17k. There are several varieties of fomorian here, near the mouth of Fomor. (Makes enough sense, I guess) step #6: return to Ivy step #7: give her the powder step #8: give her the blood step #9: return to Ruairi and give him the box. reward is Ivy Trimmed weapon of your choice. Ruairi asks: "Would you like a staff for an [Eldritch], an [Enchanter], a [Mentalist],an [Animist], or a [Bainshee]? Ruairi, the NPC you need to start the quest, is in Bann-Didein in Domnann at loc' 30420, 10828.
There is a botonoid tuber camp at 15k, 29k. Pollen spores are there also.
If you get the geddon, take a horse to Aalid Feie and jump at 5k, 20k (right before you get to Vale). There is a camp there. You can stop by any of the spore camps on the way back to Droighad.

Completing this quest as a 33rd season Animist, I received 36,330,877 experience as well as 1 gold and some silver.
As a reward I chose the [Staff] for an [Animist], and received the following item:

After chosing "Staff" and than "enchanter" for my reward I was given a staff with +33 enchantment - nice (if i weren't specialized in mana... - no choice offered)

The reward for this quest is any weapon type. I chose staff and you then choose the class type for the staff. It conned orange to me at 31. XP for this quest was 22M (woot!).
