I had my party's *** kicked by the brown drake...Trust me he's not all that big and not too spectacular to look at....Imagine a larger than average lizard, but brown instead of green.

They're rather impressive simply because they're so larger. They do BAF though, which makes them decent experience, and with the various Barghests and the other 50+ monsters on the hill, you can make a fair profit hunting here if you want.

They aren't fantastically hard to kill. I managed to kill one with me (45 Pally) 2 clerics (40 and 42) and an infiltrator (47)

Where about did you run into him? How big is he? I'm thinking of heading up there to check him out, just for a screen shot or something. I'd love to get a couple of groups together to try and take him out.

They are right before you get to Hadrians Wall section. On a big mountain it flattens up and is green on top, and they roam that hill. They attacked me before I could hardly see their head. Careful trying to get screenshots. =)

Hrm, we were running along and bumped into the Great Brown Drakes toe out of nowhere once
cut through our level 40 party like a ginsu knife through hot butter. What level is he? Hitting our armsman for like 400. We did the best we could and faught bravely(basically we were in shock and created a nice line of graves from being in the /follow command mode).
I dont even remember how hard he whupped my caster behind...dont want to. It still hurts.
