Ok i have never had this hard of a time looking for a quest npc where the hell is he at i have looked all over the zone and i don't know which tower they are talking about I dont even see a tower when i zone into east svealand so could someone please help me

i know where he spawns..near Smyga right?? well i been killin and spawning Hobgoblins for hours and no sign? what am i doing wrong??

you r doing nothing wrong he is a reasonably rare spawn there, keep killing, he will show up, has taken me an hour b4 tho :(

I have been searching for over 3 rl hours for a giant water strider for a kill task and havent found 1 yet,any1 have any ideas where i can find 1

Well, there is an island with waterstriders on, not sure if there is a giant water strider on it though. But the island is just outside the house with the thralls, outside Vasudheim.
Yes there is a Giant Water Strider there. If you find Alomali in Vasudheim, swim directly behind him. There is an island there with a stone obelisk and Lynnleigh, just past her, is a group of water striders and the one Giant Water strider.

Korban is a night spawn, found standing in the center of the Stones in Skona. To my knowledge, will not spawn if anyone is standing in the stones waiting. Wait out of the Stones area until night, then go in

I've just completed the Travellers Way quest (which I think all classes get at lvl 7). I had to go find Val as well.
He's located in the fort just between the settlement Dvalin and the bridge leading to audliten. Can't miss it - usually has loads of worker ants milling about on the opposite side.
Val is located inside the fort at the back wall.

Anyone know where the Spirit of Siv is? He is supposed to be in East Svealand somewhere. The quest came from my runemaster trainer.

The Spirit of Siv can be found near or swimming in the river north of the fort near Dvalin. Just go to the wooden bridge with all the crabs around it and start searching the river. Don't be afraid to hop in and get yer feet wet because you have to. I found him there on an small Island in the river. Just swim around a bit, he'll show up.

Help me out anyone, The link up here for a map of East Svealand doesn't work and I'd like to get some details on the zone (as I am Fighting there now) also most of cheatsearches maps don't work!!!??? Whats up with this?

I'm also looking for Val for the level 7 Hunter trainer quest. Anyone have coords or directions on where to look for him?

Go out the gate of Jordheim toward Mularn, think its the west gate. Keep running straight on the road thru the village and the intersections. Down quite a ways at a curve youll see a little gypsy wagon type thing with a little guy next to it. Thats Val, but I think the guy repops as someone else with a short name ever so often, so check back if its not him when you get there.

I was told to find VAL in the guard tower on the road to East Svealand from Jordheim i can't find him or the tower.

Received a quest from the trainer in Jord to find a "Hobya" named Rasczal and get his nose. Any clues where to find a Hobya, let alone Rasczal? The trainer said he would be in the forest north of Vas, I searched a good portion of Sunday from the vale of mularn to audliten and found no such Hobya. Since it is a trainer quest, I am eager to finish it for the potentially really good loot!

A friend helped me conclude this. The Hobyas can be found spawning at night on the south side of Ft. Veldon in the valley below the merchants. It takes several times a killing Rasczal (spelling?) and he drops the nose. I recommend you get help, as the mobs roaming this area can take a lvl 12 (got the quest at 11) down pretty fast.

Note: The Huldu Lurkers are actually in Vale of Mularn; the Thralls are in East Svealand.

There's plenty of good hunting in this zone, but some of the best mobs I've found so far are the Huldu Lurkers and the Escaped Thralls. You can find Huldu Lurkers on the road between Haggerfel and Mularn, near the Mularn Fortress. These short goblinoids are blue/green at levels 3/4 and routinely drop multiple pieces of tattered cloth armor. A great way to get your character kitted out. The only drawback is that killing Lurkers gives you negative faction with some group called "The Hidden" or the "Hidden Ones".
The Escaped Thralls live in a hut west of Vasudheim. Be sure to talk to the Thrall Keeper nearby to get the appropriate quest first. Deliver 3 thrall chains to the Keeper and he will give you great XP and a little over 1sp. Escaped Thralls were blue at level 4 and were social, so be sure to have some help nearby in case you get in trouble.

you can raise the "hidden ones" faction by killing hobgoblin prowlers in Gotar. just FYI if youre interested :). they begin neutral con, but become aggressive after you kill a couple dozen...
