Well, I am now lvl 26 and I still haven't found these matted vines. I have searched ALL OVER the 2 locs given and I can't find it at all. I think I am just going to boycott this quest.

Just hard to see - go upstairs inside the big trees inside the Grove (got various trainers on the ground floor. Look for a ramp against the wall near one of the entrances...

Can't seem to find any slashing or crushing weapon merchants, or armor merchants other than cloth in the city of Grove of Domnann. Kinda strange for a starter city...

You can get basic bladed and blunt weapons from Natila, who's upstairs in the tree with the Warden and Hero trainers...

I have no idea on this, but I think Mythic overdid this zone with all the sprites and models. Makes it lagg for us GeForce 2 users =\
