DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Kill the Black Lion. Not the Lioness, she is for the Long Lion Fang quest. You get the Serrated Lion Fang upon the death of the Black Lion, it is said his level is 30-33. I was doing the Long Lion Fang Quest (Black Lioness) part. They both roam together near the border to plains in Camp. Forest. They are blue to 33 and both will attack. Located approximately between 57 25, 60 25. I killed the lioness for her fang and then finished off the Lion where I was given his fang. Nice slash weapon for it's speed. Reward: |

I've been trying this for hours. I've found and killed the Black Lioness several times, but she is always alone. Haven't seen a single black lion?
Rule of thumb for OTD'd (One Time Drop )
The mob has to con yellow or lower to get it, so if it is grey, yes you would get it. OTD's ARE quest not LOOT.

Wrong, many OTD are able to be done when the mob cons orange....con of mob doesn't matter, the level of your toon does.

Is it possable to kill them when they are gry to get the drop? Or is it lvl dependent? Want to know cuz im gunna ask a guildie of mine to help me get them for the BG and dont want to waste his time.

I'm not sure whether these drop is realy for all classes.
Killed that damned lion about 25 times with my Lvl32 Friar but didn't get anything.
Actually i even didn't get the quest for killing the lioness.
Oh...btw, I'm playing the german version, so maybe it's just another bug.......with many thx to GOA, the worst thing I've ever seen in service for online gamers. Well, they are french, so what did I expect? *g*

I too did the quest for the Lioness fang and wound up killing her mate first as she was not around. Got the slash weapon and a lion skin. At level 30 the sword cons orange and is incredibly fast with high damage. On the other hand the Black Lioness that I was looking for took a while to pop. She was in the same area as the Black Lion.(BTW at lvl 30 the lion/lioness conned yellow to me). When I took the fang back to Camelot what I got was a thrusting weapon with just slightly better stats than the weapon from the Black Lion.

what did you do in cameot; who gave you the quest; i kill the lions but got nothing

found them in camp forset at 58 24 they can both attack and one of them poisoned me

As a 33 Paladin, this was a little tough solo, but the exp was pretty decent, and the sword isn't bad

I could have been seeing things, but I distinctly remember seeing a black lion near the Camp. Forest boundry, a bit aways from the spriggarn camp.
