Try this guy now, he has a new trick. He "throws" random agro peeps (ie, not the main tank) to a random spot in either jamt or OG.
Still with 1.5fg we got him to 75% before he finally threw me (the bt runie) strait up for 99%, then halfway to uppland keep for 99% and death.
We couldn't stop doing it tho, was too funny laying bets on where you would land ;P

if you kill the giant the dragon in the epic zone looses his fire ae so he is easier to kill!!!
we killed the dragon in about 50 secs without his fire ae he's not that tough

its been killed many times on several servers. once by 16 people. it hit my 42 ranger for over 800dmg. its massive, u can hide in the feet, and its not aggresive.

With all recent goodies added to the game, he is much easier to kill. We did it today with 11 peeps, all 50 but a 40 Healer and 48 Skald. Key is good tanking and BT

yea we have had a laught hideing ppl in it's feets, and picked off hibs and albs...

The Glacier Giant is level 73. Only mobs harder are the epic dragons, which AoE for 3,000 to 5,000. It takes a group of 150 level 45+ to kill this. A level 60 mob can be taken with a group of 8. He's tougher than the Wretch of Winters in Midgard, and at level 42, wearing chain, those hit for 1000+. So, if you want to take a shot at it, grab a bunch of people, and anyone under 45 need not even try.

We killed it on Galahad with all three realms participating. It took about an hour of non stop fighting with only the 44+ able to even hit it. The rest kept the peace or battled people of the other realms that couldn't behave themselves or res'd the fallen so they could die again and again and again. This creature is insanely tough and easily 73+. A midgard group got credit for the kill.

It's more about level 70-72... Took about 250 people an hour to kill it, all 3 realms combined.

The Glacier Giant was slain yesterday (February 10th, 2002) by Shining Force of Lancelot's Albion.
Each member whom stood standing at the end of the fight banked an estimated 34mil exp.. Not exactly sure, but they have around 100, maybe 120 members... They did it with less then this number.

The Prima guide says it's level 73 as well (or so my friends told me).
I heard mention on one of the camelotvault boards (I think on the Albion realm board, in a high-level monster encounter thread) that a 3-realm force recently took out a glacier giant, but that's the only place I've heard of it being killed.

so i'm guessing you would prolly need about 8 groups, 6 groups of lvl50 healers and about 2 groups of lvl 50 tanks ;)

Well after re-capturing a fort, over 40 lvl 40 people were attackin one, and everyone else around - and i dont think anyone did any damage, so they must be HUGE

There is a 48 healer on Pelinor that this big ******* still cons purple to...so mmm yeah he has got to be above 50, not saying 73...cause that would puthim 23 lvls above our cap...and tanks have enough trouble hitting things 5-10 lvls above so 23...yeah the nukers would be useless and tanks would just be meat sheilds that are a temp restraint...i would guess he be maybe like 60 or something...but 73?! damn they better boost the lvl cap soon otherwise he will rock anyone dumb enough to hit him
