fire elemental spirit - blue-yellow con at lvl 50, loc (60k, 32k), and (59k, 40k)
These are part of a quest called...
Melting the Ice (Level 40)
Description: Defeat ten fire elemental spirits in Muspelheim. They can be found in the east, just northeast of the fire giant castle. When you have captured ten, bring them to Barkeep Kanar at the refugee camp near the Jordheim gates.
Quest Goal: Subdue ten fire elemental spirits

I ran acrossed a new MOB named Kollodd in Muspelheim. He spawns in the spot where other Fire Giants spawn, on a cliff above the south-east lava lake at loc 44000/53000.
He will toss you into the air when successful...
Quotes from my encounter with him:
"One of Kollodds fireballs explodes next to Thedrik sending the Thane skyward! Thedrik's screams fade until they end abruptly with a thud."
He sent me near the edge of the lava, where a flaming raukomz began hitting me. I managed to get back up the cliff in time for one last Inti-Cast spell that killed Kollodd before I died.
Message upon his death:
"As Kollodd's lifeless body topples to the ashen earth several chunks of smoldering black rock tumble out of a pouch on his belt. The rocks begin to glow red and shake! The glowing rocks expand with cracks appearing in their surfaces! The rocks look as though they are about to explode!"
He spawned aprox 6 or more tiny lava guys upon his death. Within a minute, a fire giant scout spawned in his spot. The tiny lava guys were gone when I got back to my grave.
Unfortunately, I could not loot him, since I died. Anyone have more info to share?

Update on Kollodd:
I killed him again, loc 56600 / 35500 - North of the Fire Giant bridge in South East corner of Muspel. This time I lived... for a moment.
The spawns on his death are Lava Rocks, and they all explode for around 300-350 damage. So if you kill him, try to kill him at range and not in melee.

Where is Gunnar in Muspel?

Gunnar can be located approx. 40k,45k and is standing on top of a rock surrounded by a bunch of Burnt skeletal Sentry's and Charred Skeletal Commander's. Be careful trying to pull him because you'll add AT LEAST 3 skeleten's (all con blue at lvl 30) everytime.

The quest tells me to return thanes blood to smith in musp. Where is smith and how do i get there?
He's probably talking about a smith at the dverge camp. First raise your faction with the dverges (I think mephs might raise faction, I forgot.) then go to the dverge camp. From the fire giant fort bridge, turn right until you come to a bunch of burnt skellies, then turn left and head up the gorge.

Found this guy walking from the Dverge home over the mountains toward a field with some hounds and a lava pit to the right. For the fun of it I tryed too kill him, he was orange too me at level 27, almost got him down but in the end he showed me who was the higher level.

The Seer of Ancient Dawning also spawns there. He's a named mob that is very important, as it is the end (I think) of the Skald Epic Quest. He jumped me on the bridge to the fire giant fort, but I'm unsure of where he spawns.

This zone is great to hunt in beware of nightfall though. At night tons, and i mean tons, of undead spawn and it makes it very hard to navigate the zone (better stay put till day)

Anyone know where Ember might be found ? he is somwhere in muspelheim, somone please tell me

I actually found Ember as I was leaving Musp at the main entrance on two separate occasions. Can't remember what time of day though. He was orange at lvl 31 but went down very easy. Drops a pair of Drakescale Leggings - Studded armor, factor 62, Con 10, Dex 4.

He spawns very nere the entry gates, name starts with a G, was purp+++ to me, a level 20, but only hit for 70's. I'd guess 23 or 24.
