- Tradeskills no longer have class restrictions. A character can choose any tradeskill.

- Characters can now have multiple tradeskills. To pick up a tradeskill a character does not have, speak to the tradeskill trainer. Please note that there is no limit to the amount of tradeskills a character can have. Your character can now choose and skill up in all of them.

Aaluria's info is right-on for Hibernians, thanks.

Leaf strips are just plain 'strips' found off the merchant Geryhn.

Skill has been going up for me with every success, be sure to work your primary skill and most of all visit the skill master first. You can't gain till then.
How to increase??

How quickly do these skills go up? I sat and made copper clubs yesterday (wooden shaft + club head) and I got no skill uppage. My guess, off the top of my head, would be I made at least 8 clubs. I then simply ran our of money...

Being a druid you can MASTER Armorcrafting..which means you must build up your primary skill before any other skill can raise up. So if your Armorcrafting is at level 1 no other skill can raise past level until you raise Armorcrafting. You can make copper clubs all day and your skill in Weaponfcrafting will never raise past level 1.

You should get at least 1 skill increase each success, usually multiple increases.

You MUST work on your main type first. I'm an Armorcrafter. Therefore I MUST increase my Armorcrafting skill first. Your other skills can not go above your main skill type. I'm guessing you were trying to make a type outside of your main. For example, my skill is 65 in Armorcrafting. All my other skills can not go above 65. So if you are at skill level 1 in your main you will NEVER get an increase in skill until you get your main higher.

VERY IMPORANT!!! You can be a master in everything But you must Have you primary Go up first. That is a Very importasnt piece of info.. Dont waist time making weapons first thing after you join the armoursmiths guild ... up you armour abilities first .. then make a weapon.
Starting Trades skills

In the city of Tir Nan Og dwells the master for this craft. His name <i belive> is Teagan. He is the Master who stands next to what could be his twin brother who is also a Master craftsman trainer.

Speak to him, he will ask you if you want to join the Armor craft guild. If you say yes, you then will be a Armor craft helper. All the materials you need to start making armor are in this area.

Check the merchants, Saffa is the one to see, and Geryhn<sp> is also nearby. Once you open your skills window you will find 1pt in each of the related skills to armor crafting. And if you right click on the first piece you will find the recipe for making it.

You will need to raise armor crafting first. When you start making things you will see 3 of these skills go up. The main one is Armor craft. The rest you will have to raise by making things.

If you want to make leather armor you will have to use the tailoring skill. If you want other kinds of armor you will have to either use the metalsmithing skill or the armorcrafting skill.

But first start with Armor craft. Once you get that up to a resonable level, you can practice the others and see increases on a regular basis.

All the materials for armor and tailoring are right there and easy to find. I started with about 30 silver pieces. But you may want more money to start with. You will also need a smithing hammer and the forge is right across from the merchants. To use the forge just make sure you have it targeted. I will leave the rest to you to figure out how. Thats part of the fun.
hint-read your little book that came with your cd on how to set up quick keys for skills.
