i doubt you need to use a style to make the shield procc. Otherwise it would never procc for Shamans, Healers and Skalds. But it does procc for me (healer), and i have no weapon or shield-styles at all.
i guess it proccs randomly like my hammer does.

Shield proc when ya block. same with any other armor type that procs. the mob has to hit the Armor or shield to make it proc and there is a percentage that it will do so.

I'm on Lyonesse, Euro (1.48) and own this fine shield. The stats are different though:
15 Pie, 15 Con, 10% Thrust
Does this shield procc if I block oder do I have to use a shield-style (i.e. Slam)?
