DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different 1) Speak with Dostram loc=24k, 18k 2) Travel to Caer Ulfwych in Campacorentin Forest and talk to Lord Ulfwych, loc=39.2k,34.3k 3) You are charged with protecting a caravan for Lord Ulfwych. Follow the caravan, along the way the caravan will be attacked by 5 ambushers, kill them. 4)A bit further down the path the caravan is traveling it will be attacked by 2 more ambushers. One of the ambushers is named Mick, kill the ambushers and when Mick dies you will get a Letter Addressed to Mick in your inventory, the caravan will despawn and your journal will be updated. (Note: If you crash during this part of the quest, or you lose the caravan or the ambushers destroy the caravan return to Lord Ulfwych) 5) Return to Camelot and hand Dostram the Letter Addressed to Mick for your reward. So I had a lot of trouble talking to Lord Ulfwych. When I actually said the word "guard" to Dostram, my quest journal updated and I was able to move to the next step and speak with Ulfwych.

I decided to solo this run at level 26 Cabalist. The first encounter was 4 ambushers, 2 blue, 2 green. I lost track of my pet health, and he died... and they quickly killed me. I thought I had lost. Rez'ed, ran back, got my tombstone, kill the ambushers, and decided to run after the cart, to see where it died, or see if it died.
Well Mick and 2 friends were just around the corner standing there. I killed Mick, got the letter, and handed it in. In other words, as long as you can delay the cart death until Mick is summoned, then the run isn't that hard. (Though getting killed is not the optimal way to do this.)

A word for all those that might get problems speaking to Lord Ulfwych. When you speak to dostram you need to pay attention. i did the same mistake. At one point you can press a part in the text named "guard", after that your journal will update and you can move on.
Just be sure to click everything u can in the conversation with dostram and u should be fine.
