The god of skill and order.
Epithet: "The Skilled".
Alurad is the patron god of craftsmen, trade, politics and order. His symbol is an anvil. Alurad seeks to bring order to the gods and seeks to sit at the head of the pantheon in order to ensure that all is well. He has support from Gloriann and Valus, but the evil deities under Kaerellun almost entirely oppose this movement. Alurad is prayed to by crafters, merchants, and nobles who seek his skill in all that they do. As a deity he is quite neutral in the affairs of the gods, always seek to broker a sensible deal between the forces of good and evil. He is directly opposed by both Kaerellun and Sihari.

Alurad teaches his followers to find enlightenment through creation and organization. Those who worship him are the most skilled outfitters and smiths in Telon, and they pride themselves on their ability to craft the most intricate objects.
Alurad avoids combat, but does not condemn it. Indeed, the most legendary weapons in the history of Telon were created by Alurad himself. Similarly, his followers tend to avoid armed combat and instead focus on resolving disputes diplomatically.

Alurad has made several unsuccessful attempts at becoming the true leader of the common pantheon; he is troubled by its tumultuous nature and yearns to organize the divines politically. He seeks simplicity and structure in nature throughout Telon and, where it does not exist, strives to create it.
Alurad believes in diplomatic resolution to conflicts and has worked to mediate many disputes among both pantheon members and the peoples of Telon. In extreme cases, however, he has provided weapons of such unimaginable power they were enough to turn the tide of battle.
Alurad is most frequently depicted with a hammer in his calloused hands, standing mid-strike over an anvil. There are also various interpretations of this image, but crafting is always central to the physical visage of Alurad.

Prior to the cataclysm, Alurad was as close to king as the pantheon had known. In the terror and chaos that followed, he lost what influence he held over the other divines as they recoiled in fear and panic. Now he serves only as a go-between during dispute resolution, and even that is rare.
Ghuldir Drathmil (dark elf), Hathor Zhi: "Only Alurad himself creates better items than those I sell."
Acolyte Moratio (Thestran), Tursh: "Whenever you're feeling disorganized, offer praise to He Who Brings Order to Chaos, and your path will become clear."
Quote from diplomacy clothing: "By the work of my hands I chain the world's dangers, link by link."
Diplomacy Parley, Ineer Lahat is a dark elf in Hathor Zhi.
"What's on your mind?"
Ineer Lahat says, "Forgive me, I must speak a prayer to Alurad. Do you mind being quiet for a moment?"
You nod silently.
Ineer Lahat's eyes roll upward, and he begins to chant softly.
"Guide my hands, guide my eyes."
"Let no blemish go unseen. Let no stain go unnoted."
"Oh, Alurad, by the work of my hands, I give praise to your guidance."
"Your hammer sings next to my own tools. Your eyes see my flaws and smooth them as I smooth the flaws from my work."
"Hear my request - let every line be straight, every curve be true."
"Let every part become the whole. Let every stroke serve the craft."
"Alurad," Ineer Lahat asks, "let your order touch this diplomat as well, as this one seeks to bring about order in this shattered Telon."
"Alurad," cautions Ineer Lahat, "let the craft of the diplomat and my own craft twine like Gloriann's vines."
"Let not Kaerullun take the ascendancy. Let Alurad's healing words and the craft of unity fill our works."
Ineer Lahat opens his eyes.
"That was... amazing." You sigh. "I am touched you would consider me in your prayers."
"The crafter and the diplomat seek common goals. And when we both achieve them," says Ineer Lahat, "then great things happen."
