Rift Lite
Rift Lite is accessible across all servers to anyone with a Trion account, giving potential Ascended a risk-free opportunity to play the game IGN called the “Best MMO Game†of 2011. Players can create a character and experience the first 20 levels in the plane-besieged world of Telara, working their way through the zones of Terminus, Mathosia, Freemarch, Silverwood, and visiting their faction’s capital cities, Meridian and Sanctum. RIFT Lite allows you to play through levels 1-20 with no time limit, under certain restrictions to travel and gameplay.
If you wish to extend your travels in Telara beyond level 20, you will need to purchase the game software at a retail store or digitally through RIFTgame.com/en/buynow and update your Account subscription information with a valid credit, debit, or official RIFT Game Time Card to pay the monthly recurring subscription fee. Entering billing information at any time will remove all RIFT Lite restrictions. Gameplay and offer subject to Trion Worlds' Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and RIFT End User License Agreement. [2]
Restrictions
- A RIFT subscription is required to access any characters on the account above level 20
- Maximum Level: 20
- Can only create two characters per shard
- Maximum Currency: 5 Platinum / 500 Planarite / 1000 Favor
- Auction House: Purchase only; cannot sell
- Mail: Receive only; cannot send
- Trade: Receive only; cannot initiate
- Open Zones: Terminus, Mathosia, Freemarch, Silverwood, Meridian, and Sanctum
- Crafting: Novice (75) skill-level cap
- Guilds: Member only; cannot be promoted
- If you log in a character that was a previous subscriber and higher rank they will immediately be demoted to Recruit upon login.
- Chat: Local channels + level chat only; no global chats (trade/lfg/etc.)
