I don't think you need to kill any deamhan creigs at all, I only killed one among a bunch, they were neutral to my lurikeen mentalist, then I saw Crag not really moving a lot, he's wandering in a very small area, I followed him from 49.2K,56.2K to 47.3K,55.5K to 47.8K,55.8K and 48.7K,56.3K, then I got bored and killed, was blue to level 23.
Then, once Crag dead, all deamhan creigs were now aggressive...! They angry Crag's gone? :)

DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Got it from a Filidh in Tir na Nog, I had to go talk to Lasrina in Howth. After talking to Lasrina I had to kill a Faerie Beetle in Connacht to get a crystal eye. I found farie beetle in Connacht at loc 20K, 32K. When I had done that I had to give it to Kean in Tir na mBeo and say it came from Tadhg. He then sends you out to kill a Large Luch which are in Lough Gur (just outside Innis Carthaig, East). I found the large luch (looks like a rat) at Loug Gur 55K,41K. After killing that you get a Luch ear. Go to Connla and give it to Tadhg. He then sends you out to kill a named Deamhan Creig called Crag in the Silvermine Mountain SW from the Spraggonole camp. I found Crag (had to kill 40 or so Deamhan Creig) to get him to spawn, his location is 48K, 58K. He was yellow to my 20 enchanter. You get two items from him, you then go back to Lasrina and give her the items. You then get the staff : Aged Stone Staff, then you can exchange it later for a class specific staff. (I did this quest as a level 20 Eldritch) Rewards: Aged Stone Staff -- everyone Aged Stone Staff (Eldritch) -- Eldritch Ancient Stone Staff -- Mentalist Runed Stone Staff -- Enchanter Rewards: |

Hey I am having the same problem. Up until this point in time everything was going good. Except he wont take them. Do I have to say something or did I miss something?

Ok I got it to work finally. All I did was I kept right-clicking on him until the window opened. Click on Kean in the first sentence and you should be good to go.

From Howth take the stepping stone bridge to the other side. After that go northeast and walk till you find a valley. Walk through the valley and after that go right and walk straight ahead, after a while you will find the Creigs. Kill a few of them and Crag will show up. Did it during daytime.
Lookout for watchers, they were red for my 27 chanter.

When I looked for Creig, the creigs were neutral to me. He was up, and it was nighttime, right before daylight. (didn't get the specific time) Killed Creig (he's a caster of some sort) and all the mountain creigs became instantly aggressive to me, so be forewarned.

To anybody else who was having trouble finding Crag for the last step:
I found the Daemhan Creigs fairly easily but I couldn't spot Crag among them. They were neutral to me so I wander among them for a while (a really long time, actually :). Crag wasn't showing up.
I started to think it might be because some of the Creigs needed to be cleared out so I started attacking them. After I had killed two they became aggressive to me.
A minute or two after the Creigs decided to stop liking me, pop, Crag showed up. I can't say for certain that the two are linked, but perhaps Crag won't spawn unless the Creigs are not neutral.
